Title: Area comparison theorem with respect to the mean curvature

Abstract: In this talk, we will first review known results about the volume comparison with respect to scalar curvature. Then we will discuss about area comparison with respect to the mean curvature of hypersurfaces in space forms. This talk is based on a joint work in progress with Professor Yuan Wei in Sun Yat-sen University.
