摘要：In this presentation, I will continue discussing the computation of fluid-structure interaction by introducing several improvements of the original immersed boundary method. In particular, I will highlight some recently developed techniques which are capable of handling problems involving sophisticated structures described by detailed constitutive laws. Additionally, I will demonstrate the application of these methods through several non-trivial numerical examples, and will briefly mention a few challenges and open problems in this fast-growing computational field.
