摘要：In this lecture, I will discuss an important and powerful technique in the study of nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations arising in geometry and physics, known as the method of moving planes. Originating from the classical work of Alexandrov and Serrin, this method was subsequently refined by Gidas, Ni, and Nirenberg in their seminal 1979 paper. I will explain the main idea behind this method and mention some more recent advances.
