Abstract: The lecture aims at presenting selected concepts related to mathematical concept of mixing (in topological approach) and measures of complexity related to it. Classical examples of this type are topological mixing, shadowing property and topological entropy. The lecture will be built around these topics, with several interactions with (topological aspects of) ergodic theory.
