题目: Improved upper and lower bounds for Dirichlet eigenvalues of the Laplacian

摘要: In this talk we introduce some new upper and lower bounds estimates for Dirichlet eigenvalues of the Laplacian. For two kinds of bounded domains in the hyperbolic space, we verify Cheng’s conjecture up to loss of . We also give some improved Brezin-Li-Yau type inequalities for Dirichlet eigenvalues of the Laplacian on bounded domains in Euclidean spaces.

报告人简介：罗勇，重庆理工大学数学科学研究中心教授，重庆市巴渝学者特聘教授。研究方向为微分几何与几何分析，近年来主要关注子流形几何，曲率流的奇点分析，特征值估计等研究方向。已在《Adv. Math.》、《Ann. Inst. Henri Poincare C》、《J. Funct. Anal.》、《Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations》等一流数学期刊发表论文30多篇，曾主持国家自然科学基金青年基金等科研项目多项，正主持国家自然科学基金面上项目一项。
