题目: An introduction to Patterson-Sullivan theory for Fuchsian groups

摘要: The aim of this talk is to introduce the notion of Patterson–Sullivan measures in the context of Fuchsian groups. I will begin by motivating the definition through the example of uniform lattices in PSL(2,R)PSL(2,R), then describe Patterson’s construction of these measures, and conclude with Sullivan’s ergodic dichotomy theorem.
