Abstract：In this talk, we will introduce the higher Teichmuller theory from the viewpoint of the Higgs bundles. We study a subfamily in the space of the Higgs bundles, called the cyclic Higgs bundles. In this setting, we obtain some metric domination properties from the Hitchin equation.
