Title：Antipodal sets in symmetric spaces

Abstract：An antipodal set in a symmetric space is a set such that all points are fixed points of the geodesic symmetry with center any point of this set. We discuss a way of classifying antipodal sets. For irreducible symmetric spaces, we give the precise classification.
