摘 要: The Ericksen-Leslie theory describes the dynamic flow of liquid crystals. The Ericksen-Leslie system is a system of the Navier-Stokes equations coupled with the gradient flow for the Oseen-Frank free energy. In this talk, we will discuss some new results on the local existence, uniqueness and the blow up criterions of strong solutions to the Ericksen-Leslie system for the general Oseen-Frank model in 3D.
