摘要：Montgomery's large sieve inequality and Gallagher's larger sieve are useful tools for bounding the size of a set using its distribution in residue classes modulo primes. Inverse sieve problems concern the structure of sets for which the bounds are near optimal. We will introduce the general dichotomy of inverse sieve problems and present some results and conjectures.
