Title: The Frequency Method and the Counting Function of Steklov Eigenvalues

Abstract: In this talk, I will present an upper bound estimate for the counting function of Steklov eigenvalues. The proof relies on a weak monotonicity formula for the frequency function of harmonic functions, established under certain geometric assumptions. As a byproduct of this approach, we also show that Steklov eigenfunctions exhibit exponential decay into the interior of the domain in an integral sense. This work is joint with Lihan Wang.
