摘要:Some probabilistic models (tilings, Young tableaux) give rise to an interesting phenomenon: the existence of a frozen region without disorder separated from a region with disorder. The boundary between these two regions is called the arctic curve. In a first order approximation, these curves converge to a deterministic curve. The second order approximation is not well understood but we will see some results for some important points of the curve, involving various probability distributions: gaussian, Tracy-Widom and Mittag-Leffler.
