摘要： A periodic stoichiometric algal growth model with a seasonal light intensity is formulated. The dynamics are well characterized theoretically. The impact of the light intensity and the nutrient availability are numerically explored. The effectiveness of removing algae periodically and blocking nutrient input from rivers constantly are discussed. This study provides a possible explanation of seasonal algal bloom and give some measurements for controlling algal bloom in China’s coastal regions.
