摘要：

These lectures will provide a brief introduction to the Yang-Mills equations as studied in differential geometry. The goal will be to present Donaldson’s famous proof of the Narasimhan-Seshadri Theorem for stable bundles on Riemann surfaces. As time permits, I will also discuss the Donaldson-Uhlenbeck-Yau Theorem on Hermitian-Einstein metrics over Kahler manifolds of arbitrary dimension.
