摘要:The concept of a functor or morphism determined by an object wasintroduced by Maurice Auslander in 1978 as an attempt to generalise previous results (joint with Idun Reiten) on the existence of almost split sequences. It seems that for many years this fundamental contribution of Auslander was almost forgotten. So I will explain this circle of ideas and I will show that this concept is particularly useful for studying morphisms in triangulated categories.

报告人简介：Henning Krause教授是知名的代数学家，任著名杂志Advances in Mathematics编委，中国科学技术大学客座教授。
