Post-doctoral Positions in Geometry and Mathematical Physics

One post-doctoral position is available at the School of Mathematical Sciences, USTC, Hefei, P.R. CHINA.

The position is associated with the research project “Arithmetic of Integrable Hierarchies”, supported by a research grant from USTC and by a national research grant. The project is at the intersection of geometry, number theory, algebra and mathematical physics. It is motivated by the studies in recent years on the topology of the Deligne-Mumford moduli spaces of stable algebraic curves (tautological relations, Frobenius manifolds, and CohFTs). The project will focus on arithmetic properties (in particular integrality) of various quantum invariants, including Gromov-Witten invariants, FJRW invariants, Hurwitz numbers, matrix integrals, and correlators emerged from integrable systems, spectral curves, and representation theory.

The annual salary is competitive at the international level. The appointment is 2 years.
