Two post-doctoral positions are available at the School of Mathematical Sciences, USTC, Hefei, P.R. CHINA.
The positions are associated with the research project “Arithmetics in Integrable Hierarchies”, supported by a
research grant from USTC and by a national research grant. The project is at the intersection of geometry, number theory, algebra and mathematical physics. It is motivated by the studies in recent years on topology of the Deligne-Mumford moduli spaces of stable algebraic curves (tautological relations, Frobenius manifolds, and CohFTs). The project will focus on arithmetic properties (in particular integrality) of various quantum invariants, including Gromov-Witten invariants, FJRW invariants, Hurwitz numbers, matrix integrals, and correlators emerged from integrable systems, spectral curves, and representation theory.
The annual salary is competitive at the international level. Applicant holds a PhD degree, or is expected to have a PhD degree before December 1, 2019. The appointment is (1+1) years.
Complete application contains
(2) research statement,
