Title: Some progresses on spectra of discrete structures
Abstract: Simplicial complexes, graphs and hypergraphs are typical discrete structures that can be studied by employing methods in spectral theory. In this talk, I will present some recent developments on spectra of discrete structures. This includes new results on maximal gap intervals for the graph Laplacian; a refined analysis of the variational and non-variational eigenvalues of the graph p-Laplacian; the nonlinear spectral duality for convex and homogeneous function pairs, and its applications to hypergraph p-Laplacians, and Cheeger inequalities on simplicial complexes.
