摘要：In this talk, we will discuss some old theories about Higgs bundles over Riemann surface,  including Hitchin-Kobayashi correspondence and non-Abelian Hodge correspondence. Our main purpose is to introduce the application of Higgs bundles in higher Teichm\uller theory.
