摘要: Han’s conjecture asks whether the eventual vanishing of Hochschild homology detects finite global dimension for finite-dimensional algebras. In this talk, I will first review the classical conjecture. I will then explain the analogous question for proper algebraic varieties through the DG category of perfect complexes. These algebraic and geometric viewpoints naturally fit into a common DG-categorical framework. Finally, I will discuss the corresponding question for finite-dimensional DG algebras and explain how the DG setting differs from the classical and geometric cases.
