摘要:Global well-posedness of 3D Navier-Stokes equation is an outstanding open problem. However, as its simplified model 3D Burgers equation, the global well-posedness is resolved on bounded domain via maximum principle. A natural question is that what about the unbounded case for 3D Burgers equation. Since there is no maximum principle for the case of unbounded domain, Robinson raised this question in his work “Recent Progress in the Theory of the Euler and Navier-Stokes Equations, 430(2016) .” In this work we give a positive answer to this question.
