Xu Bin, an Associate Professor, is a native of Yuanjiang County-level City, Hunan Province.

September 1993 - July 1997: Studied at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Science and Technology of China.

July 1997 - September 1998: Taught at the University of Science and Technology of China.

October 1998 - September 2003: Studied at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Tokyo, receiving a Ph.D. in Science.
