报告人：Prof. Conan Nai Chung LEUNG (香港中文大学数学系教授)
Prof. Conan Nai Chung LEUNG received his Master of Science in Mathematics at University of California, San Diego and Ph.D. in Mathematics at MIT. He is currently a professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Prof. LEUNG received Chern Prize 2010. He is a Fellow of American Mathematical Society (AMS) since 2013 and editors of New York Journal of Mathematics, Asian Journal of Mathematics, Pure and Applied Mathematics Quarterly and Pacific Journal of Mathematics.
Prof. LEUNG’s studies range over Calabi-Yau Geometry, Closed and Open Gromov-Witten Invariants, SYZ Conjecture for Mirror Symmetry, Witten-Morse Theory, Quantization, Rozansky-Witten Invariants, Hyperkähler Geometry, Geometry of Special Holonomy and ADE Bundles over Complex Surfaces.

Abstract：
In this talk, I will explain the SYZ proposal and its recent progress. SYZ transformation provides a geometric explanation to Mirror Symmetry which is a duality between complex geometry and symplectic geometry.
